Puerto Vallarta
Dolphin Experience
This is a return visit to Puerto Vallarta |
The harbor is beautiful |
This beautiful beach is in easy walking distance from the pier |
Pirate ship is a popular attraction |
On the road to our shore excursion tour, we passed this small sculpture with another of Neptune on the building |
Dolphin Adventure was part of a large commercial resort |
An eager crew awaits meeting the dolphins |
Mike Ewing is a life long friend of Bob's. He and his wife Janet have traveled with Bob and Theresa quite a bit since Mike retired a couple of years ago |
The dolphins play and swim while we wait |
These animals are very powerful! We couldn't believe how high they could leap out of the water! |
"Our" dolphin allowed us to feel the skin on her tail . . . |
. . . and back . . . |
. . . and belly! Our hostess said this is very difficult to teach the animals because it violates every survival instinct they have! |
Our dolphin "dances" with us |
Our dolphin nuzzles with us |
Our dolphin "smiles" with us! |
Our Hostess asked us to stand close to the wall and the dolphins did a high speed swim by. |
(BTW: If you decide to do this, be advised the photos & video cost more than the admission ticket!)
Back on the ship, Theresa Nuzzles the little sea lion statue |
Olympic Gymnast Lance Ringnald returned to the stage for a short program, part motivational speaker . . . |
. . . part skills display |
He shared the stage with a Spanish comedian/musician. His rendition of the typewriter song was very funny |
Tomorrow - Hualtuco, Mexico
