Panama Canal -- At Sea Jan 8-9, 2020

Panama Canal
At Sea Jan 8-9, 2020

It is peaceful being at sea.
Especially on a cruise ship!

MS Maasdam is a relatively small ship by cruise line standards. The central atrium has a beautiful structure with a brass, multiple clock base and Atlas at the top

Holland America ships are very nicely appointed with many fine sculptures

One of the main distinctions of Holland america is fresh flowers every day throughout the ship. The guy in charge of all that gave a flower arrangement demonstration

But far and away, the greatest "attraction" for us that Holland America almost always has a priest aboard! We really cherish the opportunity for daily mass

The view from our dining room table was great!

Evenings usually find us in the theater. This was our cruise director.

The show featured Olympic gymnast Lance Ringnald who still has significant skills, even at age 50!

Juggling in the dark

These four sopranos sang beautifully

And or course, cruise ships are required by international law or something, to have towel animals!
Tomorrow - Puerto Vallarta
