The Final Few Days At Sea

Back at Sea! - Oct 14-15

Bob woke to a bad cold - stuffy, runny nose, sore throat, the whole bit.
In Fiji, Australian customs officers came aboard to process everyone while at sea, minimizing the hassle in Sydney!
We attended a presentation in the Pharaoh's Palace only to emerge to find a crew member saying "Don't wait until your assigned time to pass Australian customs - there is a very short line!" So we hot footed it up to the cabin and got our forms. When we entered the Versailles Lounge, Naomi from guest services said she'd like to have us meet her for a photo between 4 and 6 PM.

Bob had met Naomi from Guest Services earlier in the cruise and she had gone well beyond the call of duty to try to help us find a mass in Moorea. She was dressed in her traditional Indian garb and was gorgeous. After the photo, we skipped dinner in the main dining room and went back to the cabin for a movie and early turn in.

Next morning, we were greeted on the Lido Deck with some fruit sculpture
Bob was feeling better but only a little!

Our cabin steward was always very creative with the evening towel animals!

During dinner, they had a congo line which Theresa and Judy joined!

At the show next evening, and Australian pianist entertained with everything from classical, to a Liberace spoof, to Jerry Lee Lewis "Great Balls of Fire" - complete with using the heel of his shoe to strike the treble keys.

Next, we arrived early for a story session with Stu to find a dance class in session teaching passengers how to dance the zombie dance from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video.

Finally, Stu Dunn, the Cruise Director regaled us with more cruise ship stories.

Tomorrow - Sydney
